mixed experience with room issues
high towel racks hot room
the location was acceptable. it was close to many attractions and also to gare de l'est which can be reached by foot.
The bathroom was designed for a tall person, i had problems balancing in the step over shower. towel racks were very high. it was fall and they had shut off the ac, it was hot in the room. They could not turn it back on.

The room was quite nice. The bed was very comfortable and the blackout curtains completely blocked the light so I slept well. My room was also very soundproofed. I experienced complete silence. Staff provided complimentary water and soft drinks in the mini bar.
Someone entered my room at 10 AM. I was still asleep. The shower had inconsistent temperatures switching between hot and cold. The room was not clean enough (I saw dust).

i found the hotel to be ideally located for exploring. multiple metro stations are within a short walk. the area had many nice bakeries and artistic stores nearby.
I noticed some minor wear and tear. Specifically chipped paint, in the rooms which could use attention

the staff was very helpful and polite, they provided excellent customer service. one staff member extended my stay for an extra half day, giving me ample time to explore before my train journey.

good variety fresh ingredient safe area subway station
I chose this place mostly because of the breakfast reviews. they were not wrong. The selection had good variety. ingredients tasted fresh. the hotel is in a nice, safe area, even late at night. there are two big subway stations nearby, it was very convenient. many restaurants and bakeries are close.
the temperature control didn't work. my room got very hot. i just opened the window, but it was noisy.

I appreciated the hotel's location, a short walk from Gare de L'Est. I found plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The external room isolation worked well. Street noise was minimal. The air conditioning also functioned properly.
The shower temperature fluctuated constantly. I experienced alternating hot and cold water. It needs fixing.
